Yesterday I did the Core 20 workout from Turbo Fire. Later in the day, I felt like I could do more and needed to do more. So I put in the Fire 55 EZ DVD and pressed PLAY. I got through 25 minutes of it, then had to stop so I could get showered and ready to go to a friends' house for dinner.

I felt like I hadn't done the core program quite right because I wasn't feeling anything. That is, until I had a major sneezing fit today. Wow! Yep, I must have gotten something right yesterday! I just finished about 29 minutes of the Fire 55 EZ again and sweat is pouring off of me. It feels great!

Feelin' the FIRE!

I started Turbo Fire on Monday.  It is absolutely intense. I sweat buckets and I can feel my body changing for hours afterwards. I am in an accountability group on Facebook, which helps. The leader posted this on the first day: "I want to point out that it's completely normal to not get the moves right away, you will get more comfortable over time." Isn't that the truth!
This was how I felt after Tuesday's workout, the first HIIT (High Intensity Inverval Training) day:  I wasn't going to workout today. I was going to workout tomorrow and make today my rest day because the carpet cleaners came and the LR carpet was all wet and I hate getting my socks wet. Lame, so I did HIIT anyway. Cried when I only made it through about half of it. Now that I've rested a few minutes, I feel like I could finish it, but it's time to pick up the little one. Hopefully I can squeeze in that last 10 or so plus stretch later tonight. I'm sweating BUCKETS!

Yesterday was rest day and today was a Fire 30 day. I felt like I was keeping up with the moves a little better today. I did have to take a little bit longer rest before the "finale," but I DID get through it ALL! Yayyyy!!! I'm sou proud of myself!

Hubby & I are going out of town this weekend, so I'll workout in the morning after I get lil' one off to school. I'm bringing my DVDs with me on the off chance I have time to do something. Then, it's off to my mom & dad's on Sunday. I'll be bringing my DVDs with me for sure. Here's why:

I saw this on another FB Fan Page I like...I am sure it will come in handy somewhere during this challenge, so I thought I'd share:

DETERMINATION, DEDICATION, DRIVE! How BAD do you WANT IT?
From A Sparkpeople member: Not Feeling It? Do It Anyway.

I don't want to work out today. I can think of a million reasons why it's ok to not work out. It's a rainy Saturday, and we all need a day to be lazy. My body hurts. I'm too tired. I could go on and on. But I'm going to work out anyways.

Why? Because I have never regretted a workout. What I have regretted, repeatedly, is that one day I skipped, which led to 2 days, then a week, maybe even a month of no workouts. I've also regretted watching progress reverse itself after skipping workouts. I've regretted the steady decline in energy after missing multiple workouts.

Exercise doesn't always have to be high energy, hour long sessions. Get up and go for a walk, or a bike ride. Put on music and dance with the kids. Just get moving. You won't regret it.
